Dr. Austin McHenry

Dr. Austin McHenry is a compassionate and dedicated pediatric dentist with deep roots in Arizona, having been born and raised in the valley. He attended Brophy College Preparatory for high school, followed by a stellar academic career at Arizona State University's Barrett Honors College, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biological Sciences. Driven by a commitment to excellence, he continued his education at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors in Dentistry for the Medically Complex.

During his tenure at Penn, Dr. Austin discovered his passion for pediatric dentistry, recognizing his innate ability to connect with and care for children. This realization inspired him to pursue advanced training through a specialized pediatric dental residency at Yale University. At Yale, he received comprehensive training in pediatric dentistry, gaining invaluable experience in both hospital and clinical settings, and developing expertise in treating children with diverse dental and medical needs.

Returning to his hometown of Phoenix after completing his residency, Dr. Austin has dedicated himself to providing exceptional dental care tailored to the unique needs of children in the valley. His approach combines clinical expertise with a gentle and compassionate demeanor, ensuring that each child feels comfortable and cared for during their dental visits.

Dr. Austin is thrilled to be a part of the esteemed team at My Dentist, where he continues to pursue his passion for pediatric dentistry, utilizing advanced techniques, materials and equipment to achieve healthier outcomes.
